Ruth Bell Olsson Ruth Bell Olsson is an activist at heart. After over a decade of HIV/AIDS advocacy, Ruth’s focus has expanded to include writing and speaking on LGTBQ inclusion, gender and diversity in the Church, global orphan care strategies, and peace and nonviolence. Ruth earned her MA in philosophy from Wheaton College and her MA in global leadership from Fuller Seminary. Ruth loves to wrestle with the deep mysteries of living a life of faith in a complicated world.
An award-winning essayist, she is also an ordained minister, currently serving as an associate pastor. Ruth is a part of a transracial family that includes her husband Jeff and their three children: Zinnia, Oskar, and Kagiso.
